Like so many of you, the beginning of the New Year causes us to take pause and reflect on past years and the year to come. With 2018 marking our 47th year building homes and condominiums throughout Southern and Mid-Coast Maine, as far north as Topsham, we’re grateful to so many people and businesses who have helped us reach this incredible milestone.
Over the past 4+ decades, we have built quality homes for over 2500 families. In each project, we always stayed focused on one very important goal, to build a neighborhood that the rest of the community would be happy with and proud to have as part of their town. We believe keeping that goal at the center of our work has contributed to our success. Coupled with that is our commitment to continue to build energy smart homes that no only benefit every homeowner, but also the environment.
Each project brought different challenges and new opportunities to create an asset to the communities. In some projects, we built sidewalks linking up neighborhoods to the downtown. In others, we set aside land to remain undeveloped, helping to maintain the natural setting that made those properties so attractive. Sometimes, we created common land to allow homeowners and residents access to the river’s waterfront. In total, we have set aside over 1200 acres of open space or almost a half acre for each home we have built.
We also learned a lot over the years working side by side with dedicated subcontractors, suppliers, the banks, town planners, town managers, and real estate brokers. We have been blessed with finding many people equally committed to building the best homes and neighborhoods in Maine. To all of you, thank you so very much.
This is a letter we recently received from a new condo owner in Riverbend Woods, Wells:
A Kasprzak Owner’s Perspective
"All Kasprzak employees are the best
Laborers through managers meet the test
While applying their own capability
Each works with high integrity
To any problem their thoughtful approach
Only quality materials used
And natural landscapes never abused
Each development’s a beautiful sight
Coming home each night is sheer delight
Steve, there is one thing we want you to know
Thank you for starting forty years ago"
